Generators Built For Performance
And Reliability

We understand the critical role of consistent power in your life and business. That's why we have partnered with the most reliable brands in the industry.

Understanding Your Generator

Understanding how a standby generator works is important for ensuring reliability, safety, and the correct use of the system during a power outage.
This is the Stator and Rotor

The stator is the stationary component, and the rotor is the rotating component; together they convert mechanical energy into electrical energy through electromagnetic induction.
The Engine Generac 22kW generator is powered by the Generac G-Force 1000 Series engine, a purpose-built, pressure-lubricated engine designed for reliable, long-duration use in home standby applications. It is the largest air-cooled engine in the Generac Guardian series.
What Makes it all Work: The Controller A generator controller acts as the "brain" or central command system of a generator, responsible for monitoring, controlling, and protecting its overall operation. It ensures the generator runs safely, efficiently, and provides a stable power supply.
The Fuel Regulator A generator fuel regulator's primary function is to maintain a consistent and appropriate fuel pressure for the engine's fuel delivery system. Pressure that is too high can cause misfiring, increased emissions, and potential system leaks, while pressure that is too low can lead to poor performance or a failure to start. In the case of gaseous fuels (like natural gas or propane), the regulator safely reduces the high pressure from the source tank or pipeline to a usable, low-pressure level required to run your generator efficiently and effectively.

The Battery

The battery in a home standby generator provides the essential initial power to start the generator’s engine when utility power fails, ensuring automatic and immediate operation. It is kept charged while the generator is idle and is critical for reliable system performance, as a weak or dead battery can prevent the generator from starting during an outage.
